Meet the maker: Scott Dammann


In 2022, Scott and Cyndee Dammann, having lived in Mill Valley for 24 years, raising 3 boys in the Mill Valley school district up through Tam High, excitedly took over ownership of Mill Valley Swirl with the idea of creating a local gathering place for families and friends to come together, slow down, and celebrate each other in a warm, welcoming, vibrant and fun environment.  They believe the "feeling" is everything!  

Having a culinary background (graduating from Culinary Institute of America - Hyde Park, NY, and being a Chef/Owner of a San Francisco restaurant and catering company), Scott brings a sense of style and creativity to the flavors and composition of each organic ice cream, with meticulous attention to detail.

We hope to be a part of every celebration: the first day of school, a lost tooth, an amazing team win, a well fought loss, birthdays, break-ups, new beginnings, and everything else!
